Sepia
Have you ever notice, photos in b&w or sepia really stands out? Why is that? I think it is because the eye sees no color and the brain don't have to process all of that information. The tone in b&w is better. Here my cousin, Reza using his 'new' Leica rangefinder film camera. The camera is something to behold.
Taking photos of children can be easy when they are at ease.
Jonkers street shop, Melaka at night. I have been there many times, everytime there are something new to photograph. You can see many shooters with their Canon and Nikon. Somehow only this 2 brands I see all the time. Why is that? Is it because only they have the huge collections of lenses. I first started with Canon waaaay back in the seventies. AE-1 was out of this world. The first consumer auto-exposure SLR.
The photos above, beside a busy night market. Lighting condition wasn't that good. With a Nikon, the ISO will be bump up automatically to 1600, using auto ISo setting between 200-1600.
Another shot of the pre-war shop house/cafe. Note; the spot light actually blinding the camera, but Nikon metered it well for this shot. You can see the flare above, kind of cool i think.
My daughter, Sarah eve of Aidil Fitri.
