My favourite Seafood restaurants.

Restoran Kang Guan, my all time seafood place! The restaurant is located just before the bridge to Carrey Island, on the way to Banting. Price are reasonable. Good ambience, restaurant next to the river.

Look at the size of the Shrimps! As the American will call it.

Another one of my favourite hang out. No introduction needed. Check out the crowd waiting for tables.

Crabs, and more crabs.

The prawns are big too. Butter prawn dry style!

Cameron Highlands

Cameron Highlands.Vegetables farm are a common sight there.

Old Land Rover at a dump site. Most of the old Land Rovers will end up here.
Old Smoke House in Cameron Highland.

Many species of cactus are breed and sold here.

Kuantan

Kuantan, easily acess with the new East West Highway. 3 hours should be enough if you travel from Kuala Lumpur. There are plenty of hotels, ranging from Mom and pop places to 5 star hotel. Try the newly renovated Swiss Garden Hotel in Beserah.

Sata. Local delicacies you have to try. Made of grated coconut, fish and chili. A must try. Wrap in banana leaf, grill over charcoal about 10 minutes.

A small sata stall along Besarah.

Never swim when the surf is more than 0.5 meters.

Otai in Kuantan? They are every where.
