This Old House

Beruas, if you take the old road to Pantai Remis, passing thru Parit, about 14 km away. Just before reaching the town, you can see an old Grandieur on the right. This is the house my Great Grandfather build. The exterior is painted yellow, with the wooden panel in natural oil stain. This house probably about 80 years old. You can see the wonderful design of each window, with column supported the front porch.

Every time when we balik kampung, the house always reminds me of the wonderful time I had playing with my cousins and all the kenduri we had there. The house will always be called rumah besar or rumah kuning to some of us.
